1. Manual impact drivers: both brands make one
A manual impact driver turns a hammer strike into a short burst of turning force, to break loose rusted or stripped screws that a normal driver would cam out of. This is the tool type where the two brands compare most directly. The biggest practical difference is the bit shank each one takes.

ANEX 1902 — 6 bits, two bit holders
ANEX's manual impact driver with holders for both 6.35 mm (1/4") and 8 mm hex bits, so it takes the widest range of bits here. The ANEX 1901 is the 8 mm-only version with five bits and a 1/2" drive.

If you need a manual impact driver, decide by bit shank first: if your bits are 8 mm hex, any of the full-size drivers fit; if you also use 1/4" (6.35 mm) bits, the ANEX 1902 takes both. For light work, the ANEX 1903-S is the compact choice. For offset or box drivers in tight spaces, the ANEX 425 and 6000 series cover more configurations in our range. For a USB rechargeable electric driver, choose the VESSEL 220USBC. For precision sets, either brand is a reasonable choice, so pick by the sizes your work needs.

Do VESSEL and ANEX make the same type of impact driver?
Yes. Both make manual, hammer-struck impact drivers that turn a hammer blow into turning force at the bit to free a stuck screw.
Can I mix VESSEL and ANEX bits?
It depends on the bit shank. According to TRUSCO's catalog, the VESSEL 240001 and 250001 and the ANEX 1901 take 8 mm hex bits, the ANEX 1902 has holders for 6.35 mm and 8 mm hex bits, and the ANEX 1903-S is listed at 6.35 mm. Check the shank size of the bits you have before buying a driver.
Which is better for car and motorcycle work?
