All 15 models list Japan as the country of origin. "Not confirmed" means the product page does not state the value, so we do not claim it.

How to choose

  • Display resolution: the HD, HDM, HDS and HW models show 0.01 mm. The HD-30AX, HD-60AX and HD-100AX also list 0.005 mm. The H4-20 and the HS models show 0.02 mm.
  • Accuracy: the tightest maximum permissible error in the table is ±0.02 mm (HD-30AX and HDM-30AX). Error grows with range, up to ±0.07 mm at 1,000 mm (HS-100 and HD-100AX).
  • Sending readings to a computer or data collector: eight models list data output: the HDS-20C, HDS-30CX, HDS-60CX and the HD and HDM models. The H4-20, HS and HW models do not list it on their product pages.
  • Size and weight: weight rises with range, from 1.33 kg (HDS-20C) to 20 kg (HS-100). Check your bench space before choosing a 600 mm or 1,000 mm model.
  • Accessories: the HDM-30AX and HDM-60AX list a two-point touch probe (sold separately) as usable. See the 192-007 two-point touch probe; its page restricts it to one model series, so check compatibility with your gauge before ordering. A spare 905200 scriber (150 mm long, carbide tip) is also listed.
