Mitutoyo dial indicators

Analog dial indicators show the reading on a needle dial. The models below all list an 8 mm mounting stem. Every value comes from the specification table on each product page.

Mitutoyo Digimatic (digital) indicators

The ID-C series are Digimatic (digital) indicators. The 543-700 page lists one SR44 battery (included). Several models list a switchable display step.

How to choose

  • Measurement range: pick a range that covers the movement you need. The dial models above run from 0-1 mm to 0-100 mm, and the ID-C Digimatic models from 0-12.7 mm to 0-50.8 mm.
  • Fine readings: the 1013A-10 and 1013AB-10 list a 0.002 mm graduation. The ID-C models list a switchable display down to 0.0005 mm (the ID-C1012CNXB lists 0.01 mm).
  • Soft or thin parts: look at the measuring force. The ID-C1012CNXB lists 0.5 N or less and the ID-C0512CNXB lists 0.7 N or less. The 3062A-19 lists 3.5 N or less.
  • Dial size: the 3062A-19 has a 78 mm dial and the 2044A-60 a 57 mm dial. The 1013A-10, 1013AB-10 and 1040A have a 40 mm dial.
  • Wet or dusty shops: only the 543-700B (IP42), the linear gauge (IP67G) and the SD-10G (IP66) list a protection rating on their pages.
