For engineers who record load current waveforms up to 1000 A AC on a HIOKI Memory HiCorder or similar BNC-input recorder. The HIOKI 9132-50 is a clamp-on probe with 6 ranges (20–1000 A AC) and a 0.2 V full-scale BNC output. It needs no power supply and clamps conductors up to Ø55 mm or an 80 × 20 mm busbar.

What can you connect it to?

Memory HiCorders and recorders with BNC input (1 MΩ or higher). HIOKI describes the 9132-50 as "an economical clamp sensor for waveform recording with Memory HiCorders" and lists the MR8880, MR8870 and MR8827 as related products.
HIOKI DT4281, DT4253, DT4255 and DT4256 digital multimeters: only with the 9704 conversion adapter (BNC to banana, sold separately). HIOKI states the 9704 is required to connect clamp-on probes to these DT models.
Not for DC. HIOKI's manual notes that DC components cannot be measured correctly, and shielded conductors cannot be measured accurately.

Will it work outside Japan?

Same model sold worldwide. HIOKI's global, US and Japan sites list the 9132-50 under the same model number.
No power or language settings: it is a passive probe.
